Helmholtz Coordination

The "Helmholtz Coordination" group is the central communication interface at KIT for cross-program matters of the Helmholtz Association.
We coordinate overarching Helmholtz processes at KIT and advise and support the Executive Board and the Head of Divisions of KIT in strategic-political processes.

The goal of our work is the successful implementation of KIT's research strategy in the Helmholtz Association.

Core tasks:

• Monitoring and coordination of cross-program matters of the Helmholtz Association.
• Support of the Helmholtz boards and committees on association and research area level
• Bundling of KIT-internal competences for technical and strategic analyses of Helmholtz-specific issues

Contact and coordination in particular for

• Program-oriented funding (PoF) of the Helmholtz Association
• Program Progress Report
• Initiative and Networking Fund of the Helmholtz Association
• Infrastructure Processes

The aim is to support and advise the KIT Executive Board, the Heads of Divisions, and the programs in strategic-political processes through information transfer, analyses, and the development of options for action.
